The Eiger Extreme Collection is Mammut’s flagship performance line, built for athletes and professionals pushing the limits in alpine environments. As a key member of the design team, I led the creative development of several products within the collection, focusing on innovative workmanship, functional precision, and cutting-edge material technologies.
A major focus was driving innovation in down baffle constructions, developing new techniques to optimise thermal efficiency while reducing bulk and weight. I also worked on integrating easy repair solutions, ensuring products could be quickly maintained even during expeditions, extending their life cycle and supporting Mammut’s sustainability vision.
Collaborating closely with athletes, I translated testing feedback into innovative product solutions that balance performance, weather protection, and durability.
The Eiger Extreme Collection reflects Mammut’s ambition to push industry boundaries while staying true to its Swiss heritage of precision and craftsmanship. Leading these creative projects from concept to production allowed me to combine purpose-driven innovation, technical problem-solving, and athlete-centred design to create products that perform at the highest level.
